Hi, I’m Katy, the owner and operator behind Blush & Bourbon Bar Co. — and the heart behind the bar.

I’ve been in the hospitality and bartending industry for 12 years, and creating unforgettable experiences for people is truly something I love. From weddings to celebrations of all kinds, there’s nothing better than being part of moments that bring people together.

Outside of the venue, I’m a registered radiologic technologist, a wife to my wonderful husband, and a proud mom to three amazing girls. My family inspires me every day to build something meaningful they can be proud of. When we’re not working or running to events, you’ll usually find our family watching our girls play softball, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, or rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.

I’m also from the heart of the Smoky Mountains, where southern hospitality runs deep. My quiet moments usually include a good romance novel on my Kindle, a strong cup of coffee, and cuddles with my two pooches. ☕📖🐾

I started Blush & Bourbon with a dream of creating something special — not only to support and take care of my family, but to help make life’s celebrations a little brighter and people’s happiest days even more memorable.

Corena Norrell

Driven by a love for artisanal sips and heartfelt service, Sami adds a touch of grace to your wedding. From hand-crafting beautiful drinks to managing every detail with care, she ensures your special day is as sophisticated as it is memorable.

Outside of Blush and Bourbon, Sami likes to spend her time hanging out with her rambunctious little boy, reading her kindle, and being with family. Sami roots for the Vols, fights with Katy when the Eagles play the Commanders, and is the sounding board for all of those around her. A Maryland native, the life of the party, and the perfect person to ensure that your bar or event is exactly as you wanted.

Introducing Corena, our vibrant mixology expert who brings boundless energy to every event, ensuring your wedding menu is both elegant and effortless.
When she is away from the bar, she is likely navigating the sidelines of soccer and football games, homeschooling her four wonderful children, or streamlining our team’s operations. She is a true powerhouse and a relentless worker. As the newest member of the Blush & Bourbon family, she has quickly become an essential part of our circle. We feel incredibly fortunate to have her expertise, and you will too when she brings her magic to your special day.
